He's sweet! He may not be a true feral cat - they don't come near people at all. He's likely someone's pet, who's been lost or abandoned and has been on his own for a long time. Bless you for teaching him that some people can be trusted! My Suzie was brought to the humane society at one year of age, skinny and very leery of people. But if you can gain her trust, she's an affectionate snuggler. Just don't try to catch her! She can read our minds - when we need to cut her nails or put flea meds on her, she takes off like a bullet! ;-)
@timandelke I agree Elke. I think this cat was born to a stray and never had a home. Very leery and watches every move I make. He is getting better. I still can't get too close and can't touch at all. It's a process that I've been through many times. Patience...is the key.
