Hampden is a wee village near Oamaru. They run a bike/walk/run way up into the surrounding bush-clad hills to raise money. This year there were 54 entries. The first child came back from the short bike ride in 1/2 hour. The last rider/walker can be up to 4 hours later depending on the course taken. Here, they are heading off into the hills.
