Moon bulge!

I don't know why this moon has a bulge at the bottom. It came out of the camera like that! It was a full moon so I was keen to try out my new camera. It doesn't produce the features of the moon but it is still very romantic like this.

It could be caused by the exposure time since both the moon and the earth are in motion. Makes for a good photo.

Nice cloud cover over the moon. Did you use a tripod? Possible movement whilst you were taking it could have caused the bulge xx

@psychographer I did use a tripod but it had a wiggy woggy leg so that could have caused movement on the longer exposure. Poor moon!

Had read your little blurb about youself yesterday. Hadn't heard of Burt Munro, so I looked him up. Very cool! I saw that he raced on the Bonneville Salt Flats. This is about 100 miles from here. My husband has been out there for races. It is amazing!

@cmc1200 My husband, John was out there for the filming of the World's Fastest Indian and he thought it was absolutely amazing – better than a trip to the moon, and much cheaper as I keep him on a budget!
