Fearless on the Bungy!

Not me, for sure! This is in a deep gorge area where A J Hackett set up his first buggy jump at Kawerau. It is the worlds 1st commercial jump with a 42 metre fall. The current price is $180 NZ. I think I would rather use that money to taste the many superb wines in the surrounding area. Not to mention the cheeses and the incredible real Pizza we had today at Waitiri Creek Wines. Straight out of Rome, we complimented him!

I photographed my husband jumping from here in 1992 and could hardly hold the camera for shaking with fear! This is lovely with the sunlight on the cliffs.

I recognise this!!! My uncle did his bungee jump here years ago, but I had to go one better and do mine in Queenstown...the Nevis, which is nearly 3 times as high. Terrifying. Don't do it!!
