This time at my place. We all discussed the books we have (or hadn't) been reading in the last month. One lady had read Page One several times but that was as far as she got! I'm reading a great book called "Piano in the Pyrenees", a very funny story about shifting from London to France. Afternoon tea was as good as a lunch with egg and smoked salmon sandwiches, shrimp profiteroles, small savories, and lashings of lemon and passionfruit square!
Well, that does it ... I want to join your book club! This sound like one delicious lunch. Mmmmm ..I love everything on the menu. Love it that one lady had read only "one" page! I know how that goes. Your book sound so interesting, I migiht look for it. Great, great photo!
Looks kike a lot of fun!.....I love the fact the lady front right.....has socks to match her top!.....I wish i lived on your street, so i could join in too! : ]
Nice shot - sounds like a great book club - its nice to get together with friends ...love those large windows with the view of the garden - who is the piano player!!
This looks a very happy book club & not too serious also plenty of food !!! I have never joined a book club but am an avid reader , would join one like this though !!!
Your book club sounds a lot more sophisticated than the one I go to, which is a bit more wine-based than yours. The menu sounds lovely. Will have to look up your piano in the pyrenees book, it sounds good. I have just read The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, which was very good. Funny and poignant.
