Grape Glut

We have been picking grapes from our fence for over 3 weeks now and this is the latest to come inside after giving some bunches to a neighbour!

I am so envious! Those are beautiful grapes! My husband and I pick wild grapes every fall, but haven't had any luck growing our own.

You got me thinking about Otago Pinot Noir now. Also a plate of goats cheese, grapes and olives for a snack. They look a nice colour and size.

@doblaine I'll go and buy some goats cheese (I haven't got a goat) as I have some olives (but no olive tree)

If you want to be decadent heat some sliced goats cheese in a pan of melted butter, crushed almond and a little honey with S&P.

What a great photo, Maggiemae. I sure wish I could take some of those grapes out of this photo. I love them and envious. I bet they are great when you grow them yourself. Off to the Farmers Market this weekend in hopes that they have some. YUM!!
