I'm experimenting with long exposure on my sister-in-law's car in the dark! I asked the car if it was ok but as yet haven't shown it to her! I think it's rather neat as it incorporates a photo bomb! I'm going to be away for a week visiting a another sister in law up north who has had a massive stroke, can't walk, talk, eat! I've printed a lot of photos and put them in a small album and hope that she can recognise them. Her husband is in the same hospital/rest home care centre with dementia so he might not remember we have even been to visit-- except I have bought a 'visitor's book' so he can look at the entries!
This picture invokes a very mysterious atmosphere Maggiemae. Hope your sister-in-law recovers from her illness very soon. Through my own experience with family, I do have compassion and empathy with your own worries.
What a fantastic shot, Maggiemae ... I don't know how to do long exposure yet. May get up the courage to try sometime. Great light and shadow here. I wish you a safe trip to your sister-in-law and husband. How sad these illnesses are .. I hope that she enjoys the photos. Be safe.
What a great shot, Maggiemae. I am not sure my camera will do timed exposures. Will check that out once I get other things figured out. My thoughts are with you in your travels and visit with your sister-in-law and her husband. Such devastating illnesses they are going through. Glad you can spend time with them and share the photos you are taking with you. Take care.
Oh a very sad visit ahead of you ...have courage & I hope there will be some improvement ! You are way ahead of me talking about long exposure !! Whatever you did it works.
Well done with this photo - it's good to experiment too! Hope your sister in law shows improvement soon and that your photos may trigger some memories. Take care.
It took me a while to work it out. Originally I was seeing stained glass in the bottom left (the headlight) How awful for your sister-in-law :o( I hope she makes a rapid recovery xx
I hope things all work out for you and the family - will miss you.
I will pray for your sister & her husband.
