It is just a golden blob in the dark sky and not much interest, I think. But as it is super-moon night and the moon is closest to earth as it will ever be this year, it has to go into today's photo! This is taken up a side street in the eastern suburbs of Auckland where alongside of me in a well lit hall, a group of Islanders including children were practicing a dance! It certainly wasn't a moon dance
Is this on dusk? Lovely yolk colour and the sky is still just light. Later it was like turning on a neon light. I have a shot I'll put up later in the week.
Fantastic capture, Maggiemae ... love the color! I was ready to go out with tripod and the works .. but all was overcast. I'm not really into moon shots, but like you said, the supermoon is special.
@psychographer I took heaps of photos, some witha tripod but this was the best and it was taken with me hanging on to a lamp post with my hand held camera!
