We were first in line here and they were keen to open the bottles. Most are NZ and are beautiful world class wines. The one I liked and bought was Villa Maria Dry Reisling. John likes the reds. I thunk I had nine shtastingsh and John four! (the servings were minute, of course)
I sometimes wonder what they do with the left overs in the bottles they don't completely use up? Hummmmmmmmmmm maybe I should go work at a vineyard and help with the tastings!!!!!!!! cool shot. love the light thru the bottles also.
We always try & buy NZ wine in our supermarket because 1. they are delicious with a fresh clean taste & 2. because NZ is our sons home & our second so we try & support your country. I love to see all the rows of vines growing too !!! Must look out for these wines. Sounds like you had a very tasting time & went rolling home!
These bottles just ooze class, I can imagine how superb they all are! I'm a red wine fan too, but only in moderation of course! Lovely photo Maggie, the light is really good, also the focus, I find glass difficult to capture!
@jackie8 A glass of red wine is supposed to be healthy, Jackie! I usually find glass difficult too but this went well for some reason - it was in a dark place with light coming from the side.
Once in a blue moon when I have wine with a special meal I tend to like the blush wines. These look like they deserve the accolades you've given them- very elegant looking shot.
