This made a lovely picture with these two ducks in a shallow pond! Must remember what I did besides the EV - it was on manual but there are many different programs.
I came away from this place with the nasty bot that so many people have had! Now in bed, sniffing something that seems to have morphine in it to stop the spasms! My day has been delightful in looking at your lives all over the world - I don't need to say anything because that involves a lot of coughing! 365 you Rock!
Interesting composition - is the sun to your left or in front of the ducks? That would explain the lack of colour on left of photo. The colour in the ducks and the water reeds makes the shot.
@doblaine the sun was in front of the ducks, David. Do you think I should have included a bit of colour on the left to balance it? Appreciate your imput!
As you can see from the comments - we love what you have done. Saturation and the sun's reflection have cancelled out the colour which actually highlights the ducks and the reeds. By trying to get more colour in may have reduced the impact of the final photo. For me the ducks are the stars - abley supported by the reflections and the green reeds.
Maggie I sympathise. I have just had a cold for nearly 4 weeks. I spent about 3days in bed at the start because I could hoping to avoid it lingering but alas even today I still have the odd coughing fit. Take it easy. I love your ducks.
Sorry to hear you are under the weather and hope you'll be on the mend real soon. Take care! I love how you processed this photo. It looks like a watercolor painting.
A lovely capture, Maggiemae ....lovely lighting and pov! Soft colors here really make it wonderful. Hope that you're feeling better soon .... VERY soon.
@karenann@frida@tamsg4 Thank you Karen, Frida and Tams for your good wishes - it will do its usual progression I expect! I'm full up on Vit C, cough medicine and water!
What a fantastic shot, Maggiemae. You will have to try different settings to see if you can figure out what you did. Sorry you got so sick. Feel well soon.
