My new ukelele

I have upgraded my old green ukelele which mainly children play, to a more mellow and senior model. It has a lovely sound, a bit louder so I have to be careful I don't strum the wrong chord! Around the edge is a paua border which is very apt living where we dive for paua!

Beautiful photo! My sisters and I had ukeleles when we were little (my Poppa bought them for us.) We had the BEST time "playing" them but we did know one song that he taught us. It's not a song you'd find anywhere because he made it up and it was pretty! Wish I knew what happened to mine! :(
