Lyn
Lucky you, Maggiemae. . .do you just eat them or do you make wine?
March 14th, 2013
I do love vineyards ... Looks like a fun place to explore ...
March 14th, 2013
Lovely! There must be plenty of photo opps on that vine!
March 14th, 2013
grape stomping?
March 14th, 2013
@still_beachradish This is just one grape along a fence, Beachybabe! But I agree with you vineyards are great!
March 14th, 2013
@lyno John loves them but I find the skins rather tart, Lyn!
March 14th, 2013
They look really healthy!

I don't think I could bear to watch that! Knowing how dirty feet can get! We did make wine once with some grapes on another property that we had but they all blew up in the basement!

Deb
I see another bunch peeking out from behind!
March 14th, 2013
Oh wonderful - nothing like home grown grapes!
March 14th, 2013
@deburahiru I had to go out and check, Deb! You are right, there is another bunch - I didn't see them!
March 14th, 2013
If you tell me they are aromatic as well, I'll be down for Easter! This weather is certainly helping them right? Do you make anything out of the leaves Maggie?
March 14th, 2013
@frida Haven't a clue what they are - probably more pinot noir than anything! What would I make from the leaves - something to put in front of John after the shower?
March 14th, 2013
hahahhahahh, I was talking about cooking them, stuffing them with aromatic rice, but hey - whatever takes your fancy!
March 14th, 2013
Nice find.
March 14th, 2013
Yummy grapes!
March 14th, 2013
I love the way grapes grow! Looks like a good bunch for some homemade vino! :)
March 14th, 2013
Great shot Maggie.
March 14th, 2013
Love the grapevine. But really love the light shining through the leaves

I agree with Cathy. The sunlight is so beautiful!
March 14th, 2013
They look divine. I have been wanting to attempt to grow some myself.
March 14th, 2013
Birds got all of mine. Going to fix them next time.
March 14th, 2013
Golly, this photo reminds me that we are at the opposite end of the scale. I've just posted a photo of the vine in our polytunnel - tucked cosily under a fleece because of the chill factor... We're worlds apart!
March 14th, 2013
Ohhh yummm!!! I just LOVE grapes! :) Especially from the vine :) Such a gorgeous shot with the sun shining through :) An lovely shot and a FAV for me! :)
March 14th, 2013

Vee
Looks like a beautiful and healthy specimen!
March 14th, 2013
Well these have come on since you showed us last & it hasn't taken long... I am amazed how quickly they have grown.
March 14th, 2013
Beautiful photo. I want an arbor with grape vines growing over it. A pergola really so that I can put a outdoor table with a red and white checked tablecloth over it. Maybe a bottle of chianti!
March 14th, 2013
How wonderful to have grapes growing in your backyard!
March 14th, 2013
Beautiful shot. They look so ripe and juicy xx

Jo
It has such a summery feel to this shot, with the lighting and juicy grapes. Lovely.
March 15th, 2013
Just for eating Maggie? What a shame. Love the capture
March 15th, 2013
Maggie, that's a beautiful and really unusual shot of a vine and grapes.
We have a bacchus vine but it's not the right climate here for it - purely ornamental!
March 15th, 2013
So beautiful. I don't know how you always capture the perfect lighting, Maggiemae.
March 15th, 2013
Yum! I love grapes fresh from the vine.... I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy those when they're ready. :)
