Thought I should check the grape situation down on the fence! There I discovered this nice bunch - well, two bunches actually! Colouring up well but a long way from eating just yet!
I don't think I could bear to watch that! Knowing how dirty feet can get! We did make wine once with some grapes on another property that we had but they all blew up in the basement!
If you tell me they are aromatic as well, I'll be down for Easter! This weather is certainly helping them right? Do you make anything out of the leaves Maggie?
@frida Haven't a clue what they are - probably more pinot noir than anything! What would I make from the leaves - something to put in front of John after the shower?
Golly, this photo reminds me that we are at the opposite end of the scale. I've just posted a photo of the vine in our polytunnel - tucked cosily under a fleece because of the chill factor... We're worlds apart!
Ohhh yummm!!! I just LOVE grapes! :) Especially from the vine :) Such a gorgeous shot with the sun shining through :) An lovely shot and a FAV for me! :)
Beautiful photo. I want an arbor with grape vines growing over it. A pergola really so that I can put a outdoor table with a red and white checked tablecloth over it. Maybe a bottle of chianti!
Maggie, that's a beautiful and really unusual shot of a vine and grapes.
We have a bacchus vine but it's not the right climate here for it - purely ornamental!
