My husbands birthday and we toasted together with a very nice glass of Tempranillo from Australia, a very dark and rich red wine. The day started with pancakes, yoghurt and fresh berries, a photo of which is here: http://365project.org/maggiemae/jessie-s-nest-e/2013-06-10
Three Good Things:
1. No 1 son connected on Facetime from Japan and we watched the family eat breakfast and get ready for work and school.
2. My barn shot got on to PP - great stuff from all my friends!
3. The mist closed over the garden in the evening and we were isolated from the world but cosy and warm.
Sounds like John has had a happy & contented birthday...happy birthday John!! All is well with the world when you see family doing good things so far away from you!
This wine photo is quite deceiving...the curves of the wine level & glass makes the wine look as if it's not level!! I don't know what i am talking about really but at first glance it looked odd! I think I must have had too much wine!!!
@happypat John is holding the glass way up high so I was shooting it from underneath. He was starting to complain after I had taken about twelve shots!
Beautiful photo....Happy Belated Birthday Wishes to the hubby...enjoy reading your 3 good things....I may try that too...it's always best to be thankful for life....you inspire me.

The warm colours and glow are great ; you've made the wine loook very appetising- and I don't drink alcohol!
