What an interesting word! This is in the Oamaru Gardens and is called the Elderslie Gazebo. I can't find much about it but it is over 100 years old and has recently been repainted. It has some horse racing sketches inside.
Three good things;
1 My sister came to stay and we had a lovely walk through these beautiful Gardens taking time to smell some wintersweet bushes.
2. She introduced me to the singing group Selah - lovely voices and songs they sing.
3. Cleaned the front of the fridge and it looks new.
That IS an unusual word if you say it alot. Japanese? I guess. We have a vine here in the south (US) called "Kudzu." IT is originally from Japan. Someone brought it here with some great idea to have it kill off some other annoying plant. Note to self: When bringing a plant to kill off another annoying plant, make sure the second plant is not even MORE annoying and fast growing." Hmmph! They did not do this, and we get over run. I always say the name to myself...it sounds weird. It looks weird. It will cover an entire barn and farm if you just let it keep growing. That is cool that structure there is over 100 years old! It does not look it!
Beautiful composition of this lovely gazebo! I have wanted one for years and have finally figured out I will probably never have one! Looking at them is almost as nice as having one!
I love that you had a good day with your sister. Did you know that @wannabe is my sister? Maybe you could get your sister to 365! This is a lovely and relaxing shot.
I'm now following Catherine! She's been in a whole year. Will enjoy her pictures as much as yours. My sister doesn't take photos - her life is very different from mine!
Good to catch up with your sister & a walk here looks lovely in the sunshine. The gazebo is very pretty, I like the cute round roof & sort of filigree walls.
Nice capture and gazebo

The Baileys, being silly folk, find it fun to pronounce it gaze - bo .
