Nothing is as good as a roast chicken dinner. We have 'dinner' at lunch time so enjoyed this meal, a bit like a Sunday dinner! I had done it in the oven in a closed casserole pot and the flesh dropped off the bones and was so tasty having put lots of garlic cloves in the bottom.
Three good things;
1. There will be plenty of chicken for the next few days.
2. John actually bought a new shirt ( a 10 year event!)
3. Thanks to Yvonne's ( @yonnie ) posting of her son playing the piano, I sat down at mine and played my own special make-up of music for some time! Its very soothing to be able to do that.

Looks like a lovely dinner--very yummy looking. And it's always great to have leftovers ; ) Glad you sat at the piano and played. I agree that is is soothing. Kyle was looking for a piece that was in a repertoire book and I found it on line FOR FREE--YIPPEE!!!!
Is that Kumera, I only ever have it in NZ but love the sweetness of it....your chicken dinner looks so delicious maggiemae, a great big piece of chicken breast too!
I'm looking at this at dinner time. Now I'm ravenous. But I don't have time or energy to make something like this gourmet and delicious, beautiful meal! I'm glad you played the piano! I find that on days when I'm stressed, if I can sit and play for just 1/2 hour, I can face reality again!

@smellychelli Its all in the planning, Michelle! I like to cook quite a lot at one time so there is plenty for the following days with no effort at all! You do feel as if you are creating something at the piano, don't you? Its like 365!
