Wandering around Sydney and behaving myself, I thought it appropriate to go inside this cathedral. I found myself part of a huge gathering all looking very Italian. The priest spoke in Italian and the organ was played in Italian (lol)! It was some celebration to do with Malta and the war. When they sang Ave Maria, I joined in singing lustily (as you do)! Nobody minded me taking photos.
Three good things:
1. My legs held up for a couple of hours walking.
2. Looking forward to a sunset dinner cruise on Sydney Harbour in a couple of hours.
3. Tennis
I love a good church specially in a new country or neighbourhood...sounds rather wonderful & uplifting.. I go in any church, I just love the history & architecture.
am glad to hear you are behaving Maggiemaer..have a wonderful dinner cruise ...lucky you!
@happypat its interesting, Pat- visited England in the early 80's to visit my mother who,had married her sweetheart after a first marriage to my father and all she wanted to show us was the cathedrals and churches! I now can see why!
