This is along one side of our garden. The rhododendrons make a big show at this time of year and the forgetmenots a lovely carpet spreading around. Cherry blossoms are there about to loose their petals and form wonderful cherries which are purely food for the birds (we are intending to change that!)
Three good things:
1. Found my Acu Plus machine - it delivers tiny electrical pulses to various nerve endings to help with stiffness or pain.
2.Ouch!
3. I'm glad my dreams are not true!
This is beautiful Maggiemae -- you have so many interesting plants creating different shapes & textures -- the Rhododendron bush is a beautiful colour and so full of bloom .And the lawn looks a healthy colour -- I am very impressed with your lovely border !!
@beryl Thank you Beryl for your nice comments! We are proud of our lawn and like to keep the weeds out of it. Just going out now to do a dandelion prowl!
this is so beautiful maggiemae! if that is only one side, i'd like to see the other! this is a lot of work and care and a feast for your eyes to see everyday.
@glendq we don't have a thanksgiving day! I don't even know, what would be the equivalent! Maybe Waitangi Day when we are supposed to celebrate the landing of the British into NZ but in the last few years it's just been a reason to have a violent protest!
Wow! beautiful shot of a fantastic garden! would you like to come and fix ours as well please! Our veggie garden is doing well, but I think my husband forgets there are some flowers somewhere too. You must be a really keen and good gardener!
your borders and bushes look lovely maggie and your neatly trimmed lawn is fabulous :) your garden does have a very 'english country garden feel' to it
so good to read your thankful things.
when is your offical Thanksgiving Day?
ours is next weekend.
Most of my dreams are so weird and never make sense!
