This is my son who lives with his family in Japan. As Halloween falls during the week, they celebrate it during the weekend. The whole family had incredible masks - it must have been such fun!
The shot wasn't so good as it was a screen shot from FaceTime on my iPad.
Three good things:
1. My son never looks any older - he's 46.
2. Zoe, his 6 year old daughter as usual was a fairy princess.
3. I do like to sit and ponder!
Such a rich colour & would never have known it was an actual face until you said.......they do stuff like this so well in Japan......the luxury of this mask is incredible.
It sounds like you are really fond of your son and his family. Do you get to see them often? It's hard being far from loved ones - well, it is for me. Hope you had a good time on FaceTime today. :)
What a gorgeous mask - sounds like he has fun with your granddaughter with their halloween celebrations!! How hard for you to only see him every two years!! With todays communications at least you can see his face and talk to him often. Imagine what it was like when we were all dependent on written letters in the post. We do somehow seem closer with the computer.
such a vibrant colorful image ... love how you didnt worry about technicalities ... instead focussing and freezing the moment ...great attitude ...and he's 46 ? really?
that mask is gorgeous! i'm never one for it but there are a few I've seen that i could live with if i have them. glad you're in touch with the family. my siblings are always asking me to skype or chat online but i'm so technologically challenge i really couldn't care.
Nice shot! The lighting gives it a spooky look. Excellent mask. Very colorful and full of detail! What would we do without video calls? I rely on Skype daily!
