Night in Oamaru by maggiemae

Night in Oamaru

This is the historic part of Oamaru - cobbled streets and tall buildings. It has become a place known world wide for genuine Victorian buildings. Various movies have been shot here including Mr Pip.

Three good things:
1. Lawn mowing today - my self propelled mower took me on a journey - round the Rowan tree three times and halfway up the driveway before I let go!
2. My diet worked well today with some delicious salad and a mango chilli dressing.
3. A man actually arrived to measure up a sun shade for our deck.
Very moody. Fav

Gorgeous composition and light, fav for me. How great that these lovely Victorian buildings are still there to be enjoyed and loved. I got a chuckle from your description of your lawn mower adventurelet! (That "word" was not invented by me, it's used by Dorothy L. Sayers in one her mystery novels).

Looks very mysterious and rather moody. Can well believe that it would be a popular backdrop.
