I'm sad by maggiemae

I'm sad

Because this guy was wiping tears from his eyes as I watched from across the road! I took photos of cathedrals and Town Halls, statues and butterflies but this shot took my heart!

Three good things:
1 great day in the Museum - Bikes and butterflies!
2. Too many photo opportunities!
3. I love travelling locally!
Oh,that's really sad. Poor guy. Great capture.

oh I feel a little nosy, but you have to wonder what his story was.
November 24th, 2013
@kali66 I'm afraid I didn't have the nerve to go across the road! I would have liked to sit there and just say " do you want to talk?"
November 24th, 2013
Or just give him a hug!
November 24th, 2013
Oh bless, heartbreaking. You captured the emotion well
November 24th, 2013
That is heartbreaking.
November 24th, 2013
This is very sad - I wonder what happened that he was so upset. You did capture his emotion well. Poor fella.
November 24th, 2013

Oh no, makes me sad too. Bless him
November 24th, 2013
Oh, poor chap. How sad, but you captured him well. It's not often you see a man cry. He probably recently lost a loved one.
November 24th, 2013
Oh, poor guy...he looks so lost and alone on that bench with his heartache. If anyone ever needed a hug, I think this fellow is a candidate. I can only hope that today finds him in a happier state of being. A very poignant capture, Maggie.

That is sad. Powerful shot
November 24th, 2013
Ohhhh...the sense of loneliness and/or loss is so strong here! Perhaps he will feel the enery of empatjy 'round the world! Wonderful and powerful shot!
November 24th, 2013
Well captured....I hope he found someone to give him a hug and support.

November 24th, 2013
it is hard to watch another person suffering with tears and not know why.
ths happened in an airport one day and before I could think of what was best to do another person asked her what was wrong and gave her kleenex's. glad you had a very good day.

November 24th, 2013
Oh poor man, the lady at the side is dying to go & see if he is OK I bet too.....this looks like it could be a station of some sorts, perhaps he has had to say goodbye?
This is a much more poignant photo than a building !!

Dramatic shot. You captured his sadness well. My heart goes out for him.

November 25th, 2013
@summerfield I would say, partner or girlfriend had said, 'no way, Hose'! Of course I don't know - it's just he didn't hide it!
November 25th, 2013
What a stirring image. Even before I read what you'd written, I could see the sadness in the image. Wonder what his story is?
November 25th, 2013
Oh, so sad. You've caught the mood perfectly.
November 25th, 2013
He does look rather pathetically sad and you've captured that well. Mind you, he could be just feeling sorry for himself too! Then again, he could have suffered a major loss!
November 26th, 2013
May his bad days dissolve behind him.
November 26th, 2013
Awwww so sad :(
November 26th, 2013
That is sad! I wonder what sorrow has overcome him? And then, my nature being what it is, I wish I could help. Great street shot.
