This is John disappearing into the bushes on the hunt for our maverick rabbit that is hiding in there somewhere. He comes out to feed on the lawn but at the slightest movement disappears into this leafy thickness.
Three good things:
1. Good for the rabbit - we didn't find his burrow but found his toilet.
2. Not good for the rabbit but good for us, John is keeping a watch from the window.
3. Twisting my hair up with a clasp when it is hot.
I love this and you three good things. I laughed when I read them and the other passengers sitting here at the gate just looked at me. Oh well, laughing is good for everyone!
Ooh !! gosh , Maggie !!! This is so funny !! Didn't John realise that the rabbit would not only hear him but also smell him ( I am not suggesting J smells ),lol I hope this frivolity will continue and you will have your camera on the ready !! Lovely lush garden by the way !!
@darsphotos you are so perceptive, Darlene! I did show him a bit nervously but all he said was a response to the comment of @pamknowler and that can't be published!
Great shot. Would John agree? I need to send my Maggie over. She is one fast rabbit hunter. We have a trap set right now to hopefully catch and release the thing before Maggie catches it. She does not release.
@espyetta Not even a flick of its white bobtail, Marybeth! Haven't seen it since either - probably gone next door where there is a dog and a cat - though it doesn't know that ...yet!
Still so hard for me to believe you are experiencing such warm weather when WE ARE FREEZING!!!
Happy New Year, Maggie.
