The Selective colour applied by maggiemae

The Selective colour applied

Having had some great tips, I tried this for the first time! It was really very easy!

Three good things;
1. My 365 friends don't mind passing on good advice.
2. No hail here last night but heaps further north!
3. I have got a ladder ready to climb to get to the tall butterfly bush to take a shot but as I'm "height challenged" I don't want to wiggle on it.
Beautiful flowers

I like the effect -- definitely draws attention to the flowers. I know how "height challenged" feels -- stay off the ladder!

@leananiemand This is what Claire explained to me: @claireuk " You asked on Vikki's page about sc. @summerfiled. It is not as difficult as you think personally I don't use photoshop so don't know how simple it is I use ribbet. Upload your shot, this would be a great test shot, go to effects, pick b&w, then click original on the box. Then colour in required section. It is better to zoom the shot and often make the 'brush' smaller. Start with easier shots and work up, it is fun, (sometimes) ;0) and like anything else practice makes perfect. Hope this helps"

Well, just look at this! :0) how fabulous bet it felt so good to achieve it too. Well done you, not you can paint a sometimes dull grey world all the colours of the rainbow.

Nice job on this Maggiemae, and please be careful on the ladder, and one should never climb a ladder on their own.
