This is the Oamaru Creek when it isn't in flood. John has the habit of starting to sing a song that he knew from his childhood. This particular one took my fancy for a picture and so here it is. The word, maiden, is not used much at all nowdays, I wonder why!

Nice shot, Maggiemae. I like the maidens in the shot. Nice touch. I like #2 on your list. I have been watching, too! I am not wowed by any act yet. Last year I was wowed by Attraction and the year before that was Ashleigh and Pudsey (I couldn't vote, but my better half could so I made him call and vote for them!)
@maggiemae Yup, they were two seasons ago! I have checked a few YouTube videos since they won. I love Pudsey. He's so adorable. I am so glad they won. And I see Attraction has been making adverts for TV. I have my connection to watch programs like BGT and The Apprentice and Pointless (I LOVE Pointless! ... I want to go on and be a contestant!!).
