Mr Man and Yolanda are riding around in a different part of the world when Yolanda receives a text from Maggiemae! She asks when they will be coming home! Yolanda now has an iPhone! She has been very busy, setting up camp each night, preparing food (mostly cheese and crackers) shaking out the sleeping bags to check for scorpions and waving to everyone as they pass!
Three good things;
1. Making a really good bacon and egg pie with capsicums that I got cheaply.
2. A heap of really good pinnies. Does anyone know what these are? Have I even spelled it correctly!
3. Tiny birds fluttering the leaves of the bushes behind the honey pots I have put out.
Wow they are living it up........the good life for Mr Man & Yolande....free & carefree under the stars.looking very glam for a camper!
I know & wear a pinnie......cooking breakfasts requires a pinnie & I have some very nice ones....Union Jack ones , Emma Bridgewater ones, even a NZ one with pukeckos & ferns on.
@maggiemae oh yes mine get dirty In the same place! Women used to wear pinnies all day at one time....hardly ever see them now except for sale in fancy kitchen shops & garden fetes. I think I look more hygienic serving breakfast in them somehow.
Great fun. You can snazzy up an old Linnie with a collage of old fabrics or I painted some images in bleach including some writing and then I went over them on sewing machine in different colours
@sangwann If you can be bothered, look at the tag's "mr man". I have published a number of ridiculous storys about this character and introduced this outrageous flirt, Yolanda into the scene!
Delightful shot! Good to see Yolanda and Mr Man back and I enjoyed your narrative. 3 things? --- I need to google 3 items in there, one of which is pinnies :-)
Sounds like they're having a whale of a time but I do hope Yolanda's headscarf doesn't get caught in anything as they speed along - it could be very dangerous!
Back in the saddle again! And where will the road take them now? It will be fun to find out! We call them aprons and believe it or not, my "first" daughter-in-law likes to wear them!

So good to see that they are still together. Travelling can be stressful.
