Rest ye Weary Folks

n the last episode, Mr Man and Yolanda were confronted by some huge bison!
Mr Man was able to bury his foot and, leaning over, using the hand brake, did a 360 - which confused the poor bison so much, his eyes rolled back and his tongue hung out!

Onwards for their trip and they arrived in Cornwall, England after getting off in Dover. Pulling up to this Olde and Ancient Inn, Yolanda was hoping there was a snug room available just under the thatched roof.
They were both very tired and Mr Man had cramp in one foot so found it difficult to dismount.

Parts of this building date back to the 15th Century and in the 17th C was a hostelry for trailers and mariners crossing the river Fal on the King Harry Ferry.
Yolanda looked at the menu and decided she would go for the "Cornish Smuggler”

I don’t think she knew it was a cheese!

Matured for 4 months and marbled with annatto this is a hard cheese full of flavour with a creamy finish from Whalesborough Farm, a mile south from Bude

Three good things;

1.I didn’t have to go to the morning knock on the front door in my dressing gown but John did!
2.Some incredible but real, photographs emailed to me from a friend.
3. Ran out of milk but found some vials of UHV milk pinched from a motel. The shop is just down the road but I couldn't be bothered.

Oh, I'm going to be in Cornwall in August. Do you think she might still be there.? I love the look of this pub. Have never been there although we try to visit my sister every year!

You can send them up to me next....free for these two intrepid travellers....Mr Man was very brave & resourceful ......Yolanda must have been saying. "My hero"
Personalised luggage too....these two are very upmarket!
Cramp is helped by a good stiff whiskey drunk by a roaring fire!
