By the fire, cosy on a cold night, knitting for John. Not that he asked for it! I just like knitting.
Three good things:
1. We have a fire rather than rely on a heat pump as is popular nowadays and costs the earth in electricity to get the same temperature as a fire.
2. Finding out about Poussada's in Portugal.
3. Automatic cat feeder.
Sounds very nice and cozy. I've never learned to knit and probably couldn't do it now with the arthritis taking over my hands. I like the pov on this shot too!
This looks lovely & cosy maggiemae ........we have one son who has a wood burner & the other son has heat pumps...I know which I prefer! Your hair is lovely in that light....I can see Johns slippers too! I do like the seasons .......something to be cherished about each one. Knitting queen!
@happypat Pat, you picked up on the slippers! Ha ha! See the holes in them! I asked him to turn his light out so we wouldn't see them in all their holey glory!
BOO!! :-)
Such a cosy pic!
My mother loved to knit, but she rarely finished anything! When I turned 30, she still had half-knitted jumpers in the closet that were supposed to be for me when I was two! LOL!
Looks like something I would enjoy for a day or two. It's 38C in Northern California at the moment. Pousadas in the south of Portugal are particularly nice I heard. Have you checked on airbnb.com?
