Rural France II by maggiemae

Rural France II

The 'gite' that my stepdaughter's family are staying in is an old french farmhouse. The walls are 2 ft thick and the windows are tiny as can be seen here. Needless to say it is dark inside. I've worked my way through the 'bug' that I caught by starving it and not moving from the bed.

Three good things:
1. There is still a lot to explore.
2. I popped out for this photo briefly while the others were at an evening market which sounded wonderful.
3. Will have to get used to later hours here - bkfst 10am, lunch 3pm and dinner 9pm. Not altogether convinced that this is a 'good thing"!
Looks very inviting. Maybe with a glass or two of vin rouge.

@happypat Yes, it is a pretty building, Pat - not a comfy cosy place with squashy cushions but in a good area to see a lot. Bugs away!

@dolphin Its not really hot outside, Molly so it can feel quite warm inside. They are not having a hot run of weather at the moment!
