There are many towers of unique architecture in Barcelona and this one was away over towards the sea. I was standing on the 12th floor of our backpacker hotel and using my fantastic zoom from miles away!
Three good things:
1. I also saw and photographed the Goudi cathedral
2. Changed from "merci" to "gracias'.
3. Seeing the area of Languedoc from the train and many white horses.
What a great time to be in Spain. I've always wanted to see the Gaudi cathedral. Lucky you. You shot is beautiful. I love the complementary colors and the deep blue of the Mediterranean.

Beautiful conical tower......yes, I would have cropped that ugly building on the left out of the picture!
So glad you had an opportunity to visit the Gaudi cathedral....it is an amazing structure that will not be completed in our lifetime (and, obviously not in his!). Gaudi has certainly left his mark on that city... Park Guell, and his apartment buildings are also pretty extraordinary.
Oh so beautiful!! So want to go there My son spent about 6 months there after graduation from college, and loved it. I did meet him in Rome and we traveled to Florence, Venice, Paris and Nice....so I am fortunate. Bringing back memories of that wonderful trip!!
