An Auckland beach

This one is in Whangaparoa, north of Auckland, NZ where we stayed the previous night. The lovely pohutukawa trees provide interesting silhouettes agains the sea.

Three good things;
1. Glad we don't live here - the queues of traffic are tremendous at all times of the day!
2. Driving on the left side of the road.
3. A neat and new haircut - I do love having my head massaged at the basin. Should be compulsory.

Great shot, Maggie. Very pretty. I have to fav it. What a view. I love the hairdresser, too! I love having my hair shampooed and then styled. I'll never go short though. My hairdresser usually uses a straightening iron. My best friend used to come over and brush and braid my hair while looking at pictures. Oh how I miss that.
