Out in a little country town for a meeting. This neat little house is just visible through the high hedge. Turning right from this gateway, I photographed the next scene across to mountains.
Three good things:
1. Going to be a race marshal for the Targa Rally in a couple of days
2. Got some herbs planted - what do I do with chamomile?
3. Going to make a bacon and egg pie.
That is an incredible colour I have never Sen quite such a red one but I love it.the gate to match too...yo would have to be quite a maverick to paint your house this colour!
I have no idea what you do with camomile sorry...drink it! Bacon & egg pie...good hot or cold. Good luck with being a marshal, don't think you will be able to have camera in hand!
@happypat I will be amongst other marshals and will be able to photograph, Pat - its held on country roads around here. Lots of panning practice - 200 cars doing 200km!
Such a great shot. Love that you also captured some of the clouds above and love the color of this house. Congrats on the race marshall. Sounds like a great opportunity for some great photos. Chamomile may make some realizing tea. I buy tea bags of it. I have not heard of a bacon and egg pie before. Sounds delicious. FAV
@maggiemae I did not know you can make smoothies. I will have to check that out. Great tip, thank you. I recently bought some ice cube trays. What else do you put in the smoothies? I have fresh frozen strawberries, bananas and grapes.
Wow that must be a bold character who lives in this house and had it painted this glorious red!! Enjoy your marshaling duties - sounds like fun with lots of photo opportunities!! I love Chamomile tea!!
@darsphotos My favourite recipes are made with fresh fruit - the skin cut off in some cases, like pineapple but not apple, a few brazil nuts, milk and yoghurt. Today I added parsley and it was very nice!
Nice shot. What a nice little building. I like the color of the house and the gate. It even has a matching chair! It makes me think of the movie "The Holiday" with Kate Winslet and Cameron DIaz.
