A wintry blast is about to arrive.. by maggiemae

A wintry blast is about to arrive..

This was shot from our deck but I did know to use my tripod because it was far away. The colours ended up a bit artificial but I liked it for an imaginative scene.

Three good things;
1. Nobody realising that I had actually deleted by mistake my last photo. I was using picmonkey to eliminate a shadow and picmonkey said, ‘Right, you have used up all your remaining credits and I’m deleting your photo! lol
2. I love Scottish accents - we should put country ‘accents” on some photos? Would the Australian 365 and the NZ 365 have a problem?
3. Using the clone feature to remove power lines from this picture!
love the saturated colors Maggie ...stunning fav

This is so pretty. I kind of see Dorothy looking out of her house in the first moments in OZ to see this.

@pandorasecho Thats a nice thought, Dixie- I think I'll put a Wizard in the picture!
April 13th, 2015
@happypat I was really stuck with that deleted photo - couldn't get it back and of course lost all the comments! Its my fault but I will be doubly careful not to do it again!

Cool processing! Sorry about that Picmonkey thing. I haven't used it enough to know there was a limit. Why would they delete it, tho? Why not just say sorry, no can do?
April 14th, 2015
@shesnapped I was kidding Ashley - trying to blame it on an app when it was totally my fault! I know what I did and won't do it again now!

April 14th, 2015
Very dramatic sky. love the rolling hills and the green and blue color of it. I keep my pictures I use for 365 all in a file in case that should happen to me, that way you could post it again and mention why the comments are gone.
April 14th, 2015
This is gorgeous, love the blues and greens.
April 14th, 2015
Very technicolor scene.....it makes it look as if it was taken right after a rain shower when the skies brightened up just before dumping another round of rain! Oh, and good to know that Picmonkey does not have a limit on your credits....;-))) I was thoroughly impressed, though, that you could remember all the people who had commented on your previous photo before it got deleted!
April 14th, 2015
Beautiful view! Oh, yes, I love the clone feature too! In my tiny house it comes in handy for removing things that just can't be moved out of the way!
April 14th, 2015
@olivetreeann Oh, good idea - clone out the dust!
April 14th, 2015
@panthora You credit me too much for intelligence and memory, Osia! I just looked at the emails! As you say, it was taken when we had had some rain and that was why the fields were so green!
