Official photographer..hmm

I was asked to be this at this function where two Lions Groups had had a fundraising competition and this was the prize giving and auction. Farmers paid $50 to enter a paddock in winter feed and were judged. This guy won the overall prize. His wife was included in the achievement.

I was on tickets at the door and put numbers on each person's ticket to bid at the auction. The beneficiaries were the Otago Rescue Helicopter Trust and the Oamaru Hospice. Over $35000 was raised!

Three good things;
1. Free food and booze!
2. I ate too much. Good I had a quickeze!
3. I hadn't planned to do any photography so hadn't organised my camera to do a continuous shot which I should have. However in this shot I cloned out two bright spotlights and replaced the hair on this young guy's head. Don't tell him that!
Awesome shot

Can't imagine what he nice looking young man would look like without hair. you were lucky you didn't have to take away a crowd in front of the presentation.

Good for you! I am totally not the right person for this kind of photography! Your processing is undetectable so that's a good thing!

@beryl The word 'official' is a bit daunting, Beryl! You are then deemed to be responsible!

My favorite detail is the man in the cowboy hat. He seems lost in his thoughts -- and the smiling fellow in the chair!
