Loan and Mercantile

I had this idea from another 365 photo before it had downloaded completely and attempted it with a good size building which I thought suits. Its a 3 storey historic building that stands in our “old’ part of town.

Several of my Christmas tarts fell to bits… not sure what to do with them!

Three good things:
1. I didn’t have the cranberries in the recipe so used 1/2 jar of alcoholic plums that have actually no use by date. There will eventually be a photo if there is anything left.
2. I biked down town to pick up a prescription but the Doctor’s rooms were closed - on the 24th! In order to make the ride worth while I bought an apple square that John loves.
3. Delving into the history of my Aunt who disappeared into Russia in 1929 proved an unbelievable story - Russian intelligence, Stalin, and the “Bloomsbury Circle”! You want to read about it!
Funky cool. Whiskey is big here. I live near the "bourbon trail."

Neat shot, editing...nice composition

Interesting shot, and I think the Christmas tart bits just need to be consumed!! I will be attempting some rum balls later today from a recipe that a dear friend here on 365 gave me! I might post photos, too, if they don't all get consumed....and, I am still standing!

Very cool photo, Maggiemae. I love your editing. I hope John is ok. I see he has been sick above. Wishing you and John a very Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to both of you.

On the question of the tarts, eat them and enjoy. Bet they are delicious. Happy Christmas.

@darsphotos Thank you Darlene! John is getting better thank goodness!

@panthora I now think I've got a headache from consuming too many tart trashes!

Great shot.

Interesting image. I like the small pops of color in and below the windows. The pixelated (spelling?) look was the first thing that caught my eye. The small pops of color then caught my eye.

@daisymiller Thats is supposed to be what it is - pixelated! Thanks Daisy!

Fascinating editing!! Eat the tarts that fell apart!
#1 apparently anything that has alcohol in it will last forever!
#3 are you writing another book? It sounds fascinating!

Merry Christmas Maggie

@grammyn No, Katy just trying to find out the secret past of my Aunt when she left England in 1929 and ended up in Russia!
December 25th, 2015
Very fascinating pixilated effect... almost like a puzzle. Eat the tarts, broken or whole - that is my vote. :)

The plums sound great! And the history also sounds quite interesting

Interesting editing. It looks made of Legos. As for those tart bits, I would have been happy to eat them for you. I'm sure they were delicious.

Very cool effect. I hope that the apple square made the journey worthwhile despite not actually getting what you set out to get!
December 25th, 2015
@salza Thanks Sally - yes it didn't get squashed or eaten by aliens!
December 25th, 2015
I always enjoy your narratives -- hope the tarts got put to good use, and John enjoyed the apple square. Interesting processing -- I like this pixelated effect.

The aunt of intrigue and mystery.

Interesting capture and processing. Merry Christmas.

Your Aunt should make a very interesting search, Maggie. Would love how the story ends eventually. Looks like you were drunk when you took this shot - at least that's how I see the world when I overdrink.
December 25th, 2015
@sangwann thanks Dione - not drunk but pixelated!
December 25th, 2015
@summerfield The story goes off at a tangent Vikki but there is one fact I don't have and may never have! A happy Christmas to you!
December 25th, 2015
Yes, whisky can have that blurry effect.
December 26th, 2015
Love this. I hope you just ate the bits of tart, they probably tasted fine even if fallen apart. The story about your aunt sounds fascinating!
