Pie in the Sky by maggiemae

Pie in the Sky

"something that you hope will happen but is very unlikely to happen:” Cambridge Dictionaries.

My pie was made with plain mince but I added garlic, caramelised onion, worcester and soy sauce etc…
It worked well and I made six -we have eaten 4 between us. The last one of two went up into the sky, spinning with freshness and verve! We may all have "pie in the skies"

This shot was made with the same pie and ICM on the side ( not a chutney) and it was layered with the three photos.

Three good things:
1. I put my book on to Trademe (NZ) to try and sell the remaining few I have still in the cardboard box in the corner.
2. Been round the world several times on 365! My head is whirling with good photos! Snow and ice, cruising in the Indian Ocean, flooding and pestilence (not)!
3. A load of firewood ordered
I love your sense of humor! lol. Very creative

I shall just stand there with my mouth open maggiemae & hope the pie flies straight in! I told you yesterday how I love mince so am sure you made it specially for me! We had left over mince & chips tonight...yum! Getting ready for winter already? I suppose in your part of NZ it can be fire weather anytime!

@tristansmum You are very complimentary, Stephanie! The title generally happens when I decide to stop composing!
January 7th, 2016
@cjphoto I had to look that expression up, Chris - and was interested in the result! Of course I knew the expression but not exactly what it meant!
January 7th, 2016

@moreyoulessme I'm glad you 'like' my silly side - it comes out often particularly when I'm feeling mischievous!
January 7th, 2016
Strange as it may seem, when I look at the pie it almost looks like it is moving. Maybe something wrong with my eyes or do you have a mystical touch? Interesting photo.

So creative, Maggiemae. I love your pie in the sky. Sounds delicious too. FAV
January 7th, 2016
@pauliek Maybe this pie has been shot into space from a long lost planet and is about to go splosh right into your face?
January 7th, 2016
Ha ha well done!
January 7th, 2016
pie with soy sauce? is this west meet east? I can see that famous NZ tomato sauce on it.
January 7th, 2016
@yaorenliu No, I don't like that NZ tomato sauce, Yao! This is smoked paprika and tomato sauce by Watties.
