While riding on through the night up the coast of the South Island of NZ, Mr Man goes through so different territories! From rocky cliffs where seals snore off to wild rivers rushing down to the sea from the high mountains!
This is Mr Man having traversed this fast flowing river and made it on to the gravel bank that leads to another road, he breathes a sigh of relief! Whew!
There are a few people who may think I'm totally mad making a story out of this fellow on a pretend motorbike but he and Yolanda are really a figment of my imagination and have had tons of adventures!
Three good things:
1. This is an original photo that I took for the composition. I think its the Clarence River in Kaikoura territory.
2. In the meantime, I’m trying to find out where Madamoiselle Yolanda is! There are so many rural roads that have letter boxes like this. Might have to ask, @happypat !
3. More fresh corn available in the supermarkets!
I wonder if Mr Man has time to notice and appreciate the beautiful terrain he is travelling through ! I am sure he is too concerned in finding Yolanda -- perhaps he will enjoy the beautiful views after he has found her .So glad you had your camera with you Maggiemae to record his journey
A little bit too much green for Alaska. And he would be way off track anyway I think. He looks like he's making good time though. I hope he finds her soon.
@grammyn Mr Man doesn't like traveling by main road, Katy - I don't think he's got a proper licence for this bike! So its off the beaten track which takes longer!
Mr Man really does travel through such beautiful territory. I hope it doesn't distract him from the real purpose of his journey!. Thank you for your kind message yesterday. Side effects apparently can get worse for a few weeks then they will wear off. I can live with that!
He is a brave, resourceful and persistent fellow, Mr. Man. Yolanda doesn't know how lucky she is! Perhaps you will have to put out a national alert asking everyone to inspect their mailboxes and get back to Mr. Man. I only hope Yolanda doesn't fall into the actual mailbox and get posted abroad somewhere ... I love the comp of the original photograph, by the way.
@tristansmum Crikey, Stephanie - never thought of that but she might have to go in an envelope and I think she will fight to the death before that happens!
