Montreal by maggiemae

Montreal

One of its many churches. This gold statue stood high above the front of the church and the gold was enhanced by the late sun. A lady going past me looked up when she saw me photographing then exclaimed that she had never seen the statue and she walked past so many times!

Three good things:
1. A nearby park with lots of tables and stacked pallets to sit on, having free concerts.
2. My photographer son asked for my photograph of the family! He took some but haven't' seen them.
3. When the camera refuses to focus, - replace the battery! I found that out!
Perfect processing and pov. fav

Love the story of the lady passing you by. How unobservant we humans can be [I know I am, many times!].

Just shows we take things for granted & never think to look! New eyes showed a local something new!

@dide He didn't say anything but you know sons - Mum's are supposed to be Mums - not photographers!

@happypat I now see Shaun's photo of us and it is as good or better than mine - Sabrina doesn't have her plug in! He photographes in raw and I don't - don't like that naked feel!
