Didn't get any decent photos on the way here in the train so posted this one of the guy's meal next to me in the restaurant bar. That steak was 18 Ibs ( I think I mean ounces don't I?) and you can see how thick it is! His wife says he needs it - works 14 hours a day!
Three good things:
1. I didn't choose a steak but ribs which were delicious with cole slaw (my favourite vegetable mix)
2. In Plattsburgh and so interesting to learn of the history - the Battle of Plattsburgh was held on the nearby lake in 1812! Imagine all those sailing ships blasting out their cannons in a lake!
3. The air conditioner in our room comes on every 1/2 hour and sounds like a train roaring through the room! Gives one quite a fright - every 1/2 hour! Not much sleep! Good thing was the bed was comfy.
I thought at first she had her hand on his knee but I see it just looks like she has. I thought he was twice lucky there & would need his steak for energy! A very odd arrangement of food on his plate. Is his gravy in a dish & all those other pots would drive me mad, tip them all out on the plate! Hers looks much healthier. Ribs woukd be very tasty!
awesome capture
