A little harbour on the west side of Nova Scotia with the boats lined up. Apparently when it is low tide, all these boats are on their sides! There seemed to be so many old Forts on this side and cannons placed everywhere for defence.
Three good things;
1. Found another lighthouse
2. Those scallops are delicious - had mine pan fried with sweet potato chips.
3. Early ferry today means an early start but I woke up in time
Beautiful on black for starters. I love the composition where the boats seem to be lined up across the cannon too. The scallops sound good but so do the rest of your three good things
This image really works -- the boats are lined up so nicely, but it's your foreground cannon that underlines the boats in parallel line, yet facing the opposite direction, that visually works. Whew -- good news, the canon isn't pointing at the boats.
Lovely..... So familiar. Yes, when it's low tide it is an interesting sight..... they are all on their sides. We were in NS in 2010 when we RV'd through the Maritime and Atlantic Provinces. Awsome trip.....
Must be a complete different picture when the tide is low & the boats on a dry bed. This looks lovely although the boats look like they're made if some sort of steel. Lots of big rocks high up!
Awesome shot Maggiemae, you are one fast mover covering so much ground in such a shot period of time. I hope you enjoyed your quick visit in Nova Scotia. :) FAV
