Early Star

Ornithogalum…
I can’t pronounce this let alone know what the type of flower means. I do know that it has the beautiful name of “Star of Bethlehem” Our first spring flower by the front door. They seem to have a translucence as well as a natural sparkle!

Three good things;
1. Got the wisteria pruned and that is where we saw this sweet flower growing….. the only flower in the middle of winter
2. Found a stray black and white cat sleeping in our glass house. Also found the entry way - broken window panes - so stuffed them up so he/she doesn’t come back again!
3. Opposite in the rented house where there were young guys who loved parties, there is now a large trampoline and a swing! I can’t imagine these rugby playing guys in the swing!
So very pretty. Love the shimmery petals!

@thistle I had one of those lights that you put round your head on an elastic band for this, Joyce. Think it works in certain situations!
