Ivory and Pearls

White on white is a good challenge and it is great to see what other people do!
This one is a white azalea that I put into a White Box. When I saw the green tipped stamen I wanted to give it a better focus. To cut a long story short, tried light, ISO, speed, long exposure and wasn’t satisfied. Then I realised the camera’s battery was almost down. Changed it for a charged one and it made the difference.
Should be good on Black - can't get that on my laptop!
Three Good Things:
1. The workers didn’t turn up but it was a lovely day.
2. The fountain pen is good if it works.
3. Some frightening murder cases in NZ got the right result!
Reminds me if a scoop of icecream I think. Nice scattering of grapes & other goodies on the top & bobs your uncle you have a pud!

the textures on the petals are terrific; amazing that you caught them so well in such low light.
