I am so overcome with all the wonderful messages of support in my time of great sorrow. From this sad event, I have emerged with all your help into viewing the future without my sister. I am not happy but have accepted this.
Three good things:
1 A good photo of a dramatic sky at the crematorium where the end of life for one began and my life will start anew.
2. I didn’t want to hug everybody and smile and got away with it by pretending to take photos!
3. John’s phone can be muted when he remembers!
Very dramatic sky. Such times are never easy and one needs to deal with them in your own way. There is no right or wrong in my humble opinion and if you do not want to speak to or hug everyone then you should be able to do just that. I hope over time all your good memories will help you to ease the pain of losing your sister. Gone but never forgotten
What a difficult time for you. You seem to be remarkably calm and able to look to the future. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope this beautiful photo will remind you of happy times.
May the Lord bless you and keep you
May the Lord look His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you
May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.

Poignant title with a threatening sky over a beautiful garden -- that's life Maggie nothing is ever in tune we have to take the rough patches with the smooth -- be kind to yourself my friend and give yourself time and space to grieve and remember , while getting used to the changes in your life . God Bless xx
Good to hear those amazing words. life goes on and I'm sure your sister would want this for you. keep her memory in your heart and think about her often. still praying for you and your family.
The setting is stunningly beautiful Maggiemae. The precious thing about love and memories is that they cannot be taken away so quickly. That is what we cling to. The tears of sadness and the loneliness is a real piece of healing the pain.
Your caption says it well, and you will go forward in a new space. I must add that I responded totally to your comment about hiding behind a camera when the occasion necessitates! Be strong; your sister will always be in your heart.
I am sorry to read about your loss Maggie. It is hard to lose anyone, harder still around the holidays when family is emphasized. It seems simple to say that there is no more discomfort or pain, but it can be a relief especially when you love someone so much. While you will miss your sister in the physical realm, she will always be with you in your shared love for one another and the fond memories of your life together. You and your family are still in my prayers.
May the Lord look His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you
May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.
