Late afternoon and I still didn’t have a photo! Then our courtesy car was put outside the gate ready for the “Man from Uncle’ to pick it up and deliver our car which has finally been fixed we hope. Not a big problem just a flashing icon on the dashboard which indicated it had to go back to the dealers!
Three good things;
1. The light was right to catch the really good paint job on this car and it included me!
2. I mowed the lawns on the outside of our property and I put on a good show - poor grey haired old lady trying to mow the thick grass!
3. Nobody stopped but then I really didn’t want them to!
You were a grave girl battling on with the mower, a job I have relinquished gladly! Your grass is a credit to you! Your courtesy car is a much better class example than ours! We have had ours since last Wednesday 29th while Harry's new Duscovery goes in for repair. We have a Skoda Citigo which Harry actually really likes. It's very nippy but a complete contrast to the four wheel drive. Hoping we'll get ours back before the weekend. Good shiny paint job!
@happypat It was extremely thick on the edge by the road and hadn't been mowed there for ages - the mower people we have now and then just avoid the edge bits. However I kept shoving and pushing forward inch by inch! Poor wee me!
Wow. That is one shiny car. Perhaps I ought to do something with ours. But it just gets filthy again with the wet and the mud so pointless to spend ages polishing it! That's my excuse anyway. Then there is the very reasonably prices had car wash nearby and the boys there are very quick and efficient. Think I've just talked myself out of doing it!
The grass certainly looks as if you did a good job...it's reflected on the side panels. Cheeky Question! Did you cut the grass to get an impressive reflection for the shot? ;-)
What a paint job! Like glass! Laughing at the image of the poor old woman stuck mowing the lawn and not getting any takers to help. A failed Huck Finn moment?
