A bit short of power to allow my computer to work so we aimed our destination at a Park with power. The first one we came to, didn’t have cell coverage which is just as bad so we went on. It was 23degC here and we opened all windows at Mt Somers Domain where they rely on honesty! Power, water, toilets - put the money down a pipe!
Three good things:
1. Got this photo on the way - the lines in the mowed fields caught my eye - not just on the left but also the right!
2. The NZ Sevens were on in Wellington so we managed to get our satellite working for them! (actually ignored them for a while while we read our books in the sun)
3. Leftovers for tea after a good lunch in a remote valley pub where guys walked in with no gumboots, (they were outside) a singlet and a sunhat on!
Love this countryside shot of the striped fields on both sides! I always enjoy your 3 good things.... I had to look up "singlet" and "gumboots" as we don't have these in our vocabulary in Texas. :)
This is a beautiful landscape -- no wonder that the lines in the fields caught your eye! The road looks to be a bit steep; even so, worth the drive for this awesome view!
