I was reflecting on this...

I’m delighted with the comments from my last photo - the desert colours and lights are mirrored in their own buildings which are so architecturally innovative. Palm Springs or Indian Wells where we are staying.
Our room looks out on to the golf course and the windows are mirrored……… hence a selfie!

Three good things:
1. Driving around million dollar properties with these sorts of designs is as good as it gets!
2. We will win lotto and buy one…!
3. To enjoy the surroundings, we took an iced drink outside and sat on our terrace. It was 41degC (106degF) but we stuck at it for at least 20 minutes! Right here as in this picture!

Hard to imagine basking in the heat from back here in the frozen south. Big dumps of snow in the centre of both islands over the past week.

Nice shot! Once I was in Palm Dessert when it was 126 degrees! The pool was 101 degrees so not very refreshing either. You could see the heat waves radiating up from the parking lot and I wondered why the tires were not melting off the cars!
