Instead of posting pictures of distant valleys from a height of 8500 feet which I never think turn out well, I took a picture of a bird on a tree. Its probably just a crow but I liked its shiny feathers.
Three good things:
1. Breathless at climbing steps at this altitude but being careful not to trip made it worth while. (we didn't climb up to this height but went on the worlds biggest rotating cable car)
2. A stale bread roll with one limp lettuce leaf, one slice tomato and some white cheese meant I didn't have much lunch - dumped it! OK 'cause I wasn't hungry.
3. Dancing in the dark to Frank Sinatra (by myself)
A great shot of this rather angry looking bird with his ruffled feathers -- but what sheen and shine on his plumage -- I think he must be out on the hunt !
I like the composition for this photo and the clarity. Your number three sounds like a nice way to spend an evening. Unless you could get John to join you
@onewing the food was all awful, Babs! A caught market - nowhere else to get food! Seeing people biting into thick stale pizzas covered in tomato sauce and limp chips - ugh!
Good idea to ditch the bread roll, it sounds disgusting.
