There was only the option of a shuttle to go further up the wonderful Zion valley but as the queue was a mile long, we decided otherwise. Age and the weary legs plus the high temps.
Down through interesting territory and this photo was taken while driving at about 50mph hence the foreground blur but I quite like it.
Three good things;
1. Must have saved a bit of fuel - all that going down - about 3000 feet!
2. Temps were a bit higher at our destination - 41C or 105F but the air conditioner was a good one. The pool was luke warm though! Overton near Lake Mead.
3. Mexican food was the best quality!
