Out into the city but no photos. So sat here in the evening and looked at the sky through the palm trees. The family were away at a Cirque De Soleil concert.
Three good things:
1. I went swimming a la ‘naked’ …and it was divine!
2. John took a photo of me through the window but I was able to blur a few bits.
3. Grandson had his game boy confiscated as he pinched, his Mum’s iPhone which was forbidden. Boy, was he a grumpy young lad! I got a bit impatient with him and I think that was good.
1/ Swimming naked, brave you.
2/ Where's the photo?
3/ Exactly what I would do. Nicely done.
I do have to say that i'm not a big fan of your processing, It's always a little over the top for me. Your photos are interesting, but spoiled for me.
@gamelee Thanks Lee - I did actually think this - but by the time I'd put my name on and saved it into the right place, I couldn't be bothered undoing it! And..... I don't dare put that photo on!
I like this one as I am not averse to a strongly edited photo if the picture is right. This one is a little bit of tropical heaven! I think a month with your grandchildren would do them the world of good! I notice NZ folk are very sensible bringing up children & generally do the necessary! My dil is quite strict with ours, I feel bad sometimes for them but they are most polite boys generally. Only allowed 15 mins on iPad unless ill or on plane!
Swimming in the nuddy, fab!
A fairy tale view created by your edit . so it was nude bathing while the coast was clear , eh !! so much freedom in all that heat !!!! So grandson had his wings clipped --you have to show them who is the matriarch !!
Great editing, your grandchildren need to know you will stand strong when you need to, they need boundaries. Hope your pool isn't surrounded by two story houses, smile!
@happypat I have to explode at times with the uncaring and selfish thinking of the kids- rudeness to parents (who try to be their friends). Hope it makes a difference!
@grammyn Not sure about this photo - maybe I got carried away in the heat of the night..... but thanks! Helps to talk about this problem with my real grandma friends!
I like it! Grandmama's think alike. I took a palm tree photo too! :) Plus, I watched the THREE grand boys today, age 6,4 and 18 months. I survived and they were really pretty good. We read, played a game, played with Legos and had snacks.
