One good run but needs another! This time Lee, our intrepid rider made 191mph but 200 is the hope.
My camera battery that I had just replaced having been fully charged,lasted less than a minute! I also have a E62:10 error about which I know not what to do!
Three good things;
1. Extra good catering at the site.
2. Walked over 2km ( mainly in this huge hotel)
3. John being interviewed by the History Channel
You can Google that error message, a video popped up on how to fix it. Of course I have no idea if it really will work. Seems quite a few folks have had that same problem. I love this photo, it is magical.
A surreal capture in the dust of the desert with the sharp focus on the bike and rider ! fav . Irritating having the camera mal functioning ! hope you can put it right pronto !!55
@happypat It is very hard to capture anything here of movement - they all go so fast. The noise is the best! He hasn't done as good in the following runs.
@happypat He might have another try this afternoon (Sun) but it seems as if they are happy to stay till Wed having originally put down on the plan to move out on Monday so there might be another chance. The wind was wrong this morning - over 10mph!
Wow! What an adventure. Love how you got the atmosphere and processed beautifully for a nice surrealistic feel. Any luck on finding out about that error? Sprinkling pixie dust for you. Love this shot. I know it had to be difficult to catch someone at those speeds.
I can't wrap my head around 191 mph! I have no idea what's wrong with your camera- but maybe type the question in on youtube as well. There's lots of camera people there- or even here as a discussion question. There are so many knowledgeable people on 365! I hope you find out when John will be aired on the History Channel- it is one of Jeff's go to channels and how fun would that be to see him there!
Sorry about the battery and all the walking. When is John's interview going to be shown on the history channel?!
