Didn’t go to the Salt Flats today - heard there was a fatal crash (no racers or support crew involved) but the ambulances involved took the safety rules off the Course. No racing for a while.
This was the Airbridge from the Montego Bay Hotel over to the ‘Nugget”. It goes over the State Line which means one side is in Utah and the other in Nevada - endless casinos!
Three good things:
1. Dare I say this - the Martinis were free at this bar when you bid a bit more than we were doing - didn’t cost any more and we lost anyway.
2. An invitation to the 200mph Club's banquet. John hadn't done 200mph( thank the lord) but his father Burt did one run over 200mph in the day!
3. They can make brilliant bran muffins here!
Sorry to hear about the fatality- that is a hard blow. But as is your style- you always find a new adventure! What a cool walkway- and a great shot too! I want to walk through there!
It's not the sucking that would be my prime concern...rather vertigo.
