Reading the manual helps with a new camera! Not for too long or you won’t remember it. But I’ve found some good focus settings - like the crisp image here of a central area in Auckland where we are staying for a few days visiting people in hospitals!
New projects in hand.
Three Good Things:
1. On the plane overnight, I went crosseyed trying to, a) go to sleep: b) work out what was happening on all the TV’s around me without sound: c) not touch the man next to me!
2. Found out my battery didn’t last as long as I thought - but had a NZ plug available to recharge.
3. Back home - traffic - Asian’s by the hundreds - I feel as if we landed in Hong Kong. But home!
Interesting but the camera says this was taken on the 24th Thurs - a day which time forgot for us travelling back to NZ over the dateline!
Amazing crispness this to the photo. How exciting for you to be experimenting with it. I sympathize with your long flight home. There is no way to get comfortable on a plane for that long and I totally identify with trying not to touch the man in the seat next to you.
A great shot for b&w .. at least you have come home to some lovely weather though a bit colder than what you have been having .. enjoy your time in the 'big smoke'... you would be looking forward to your own bed..
I can't do black & white maggie, yours are superb! Mine always come out too dark or wish washy. Lovely to be back home I expect bet you can't wait to get in your own bed! All ready for the summer & your electric bike.
@happypat Yes, aren't I lucky to be looking forward to a summer! Can't wait to climb on to Ruby! Look at the Nik Collection, Pat - for options on colour and b&w!
Super image! The x-T20 is my X-T2's baby brother, the biggest difference between the two cameras is that mine is weather sealed and the X T20 is not, there are a few other differences, but in my opinion if weather sealing is not a deal breaker for you then save some dollars buy the X-t20 and put the money towards lenses, but for me the weather sealing was important!
@ukandie1 Thanks for your comments - yes, its going to be good once I can get a hold on it. Took some flower photos and just couldn't get it to focus today!
Wow this is wonderful! Such clarity! I am going to investigate this camera! I have always loved Andie's @ukandie images and been envious of it's light weight. Enjoy using it Maggie! Fav!
